Comedy Of Errors

My first reaction to the play was unclear, I could mot figure out the message on the first Act.
In the second Act, the message became a little more clear. the lack of clear or adequate communication and the mix-up lead to some dramatics scenes. It sent a message How miscommunication can lead to error and misunderstanding that can impact every day life either personal or professional.

  1. I agree the first act was unclear and hard to follow because of the language used in the play. As far of the rest of the play, it was more understandable. I liked a lot the body language the actresses and actors used. Overall I think it was a good play

  2. Without the playbook explaining a bit about the play I would have been much more lost! I am so glad we had that additional guide - a key of sorts - to explain what we were seeing. As in many forms of communication is good to remember there are many ways to strengthen a message that we fear may be confusing. Putting in cultural artifacts from the northwoods was another way the performance group aided our understanding of this play that had as its subjects serious problems with communciation.1

  3. I agree with you, i could not figure out the message as well on the first act. It honestly took me almost the entire first act to realize what was going on!
